What's a bay for? As a child reading maritime stories, I learned they were "safe harbor in a storm." When I first viewed Depoe Bay's miniature and highly protective harbor, it met every definition, plus was incredibly cute. It's near Newport.

The nearest boat is named the "KingFisher," the bridge is the Coast Highway, Hwy 101, with an onlooker giving scale to the image. The sign hanging on the Bridge reads "Fleet of Flowers," having to do with a Depoe Bay fishing fleet tradition.
