It was a perfect, rare beach day, the kind with a bright blue sky and a hot sun. Sunbathers and surfers soon appeared, bringing their boards and towels, intent upon reveling in the rareness of the weather. But within an hour chilly mists rolled in, seemingly from nowhere.
